Restoring the CPA Profession after Enron
What do you do when disaster strikes? The Enron/Andersen collapse directly affected the CPA profession. And it was not good.
At that critical moment, the Houston CPA Society retained us to enhance and maintain the public’s and media’s perception of the value, meaning and purpose of the profession.
The Board of Directors unanimously approved and endorsed a SessionsGroup strategy built around the theme, “We Count.”
It included advertising and an aggressive media and public relations campaign emphasizing the many positives of the CPA profession including their commitment to volunteerism in the Houston Metro community.
We also created a weekly radio program called, “What Counts,” to support the campaign.
