Differentiating an IT company

Analytical Computer Services was a Houston-based company that provided turnkey computer networks to institutional customers such as school districts and government agencies. In late 2006, Lakehills Consulting of Austin acquired the company.

Changing a company name.

As a full-service network solutions provider, however, the word “consulting” was inappropriate. SessionsGroup was engaged to align the company’s Identity more closely with its underlying corporate brand value promise.

The company name “Lakehills” had equity in its market but the word “Consulting” was an inaccurate descriptor. We created a name that accurately described the company and an identity that conveyed the essential attributes. Our solution was a comprehensive nomenclature and visual identity system that empowered the company to connect with customers in an exciting new voice.
