Wallonia is in the southern part of Belgium, bordered by France, Germany, Luxemburg and the Netherlands. Its central location and Belgium's northwestern seacoast make it a convenient crossroads for access to the European market, with over 400 million consumers. The country has a highly developed, state-of-the-art transportation infrastructure for automobile, truck, rail, ship and air traffic that includes three international airports, the densest road network in the world, an excellent rail and waterway system.
