Transport & Logistics

Thanks to Wallonia's exceptional geographical position at the center of the European Union, it is the ideal gateway to a broad European market, and the transport and logistics sector plays a predominant role in the economic landscape. Wallonia has the eight largest cargo airport in Europe, the second largest inland port in Europe, a number of multi-mode platforms, free flowing trunk motorway routes and a high density rail network.

The Transport & Logistic Cluster combines local initiatives and acts as a forum for the various players, from transport and logistics companies, through administrators of infrastructure and training, to customer firms. More than 4,000 companies are active in the sector.
